The BTEC  qualifications in business are designed

to equip learners with the knowledge, skills and understanding needed for progression into employment or further education opportunities.  They are specialist qualifications that focus on vocational areas which can then be used as  full time programmes of learning.   There are numerous jobs in the business world that students may consider on successful completion of this qualification, they include: administration, finance/accounting, marketing, management, human resources and law.

The courses are structured so that you will succeed in your future career no matter what you go on to do.  The principles of business that you will learn about underpin every organisation – from presenting positive marketing messages and developing effective interpersonal skills to operating within a legal framework and accurate accounting.

The BTEC Business qualification at level  3 is a vocational or work related qualification.  This doesn’t mean it will give you all the skills that you need to do a job, but it does mean that you will have the opportunity to gain specific knowledge, understanding and skills that are relevant to your chosen subject or area of work.
