General Studies Project - Creativity

The students were asked to create a piece of artwork based on one of the two artists we have been studying during this topic. They could choose inspiration from either Bansky or Andy Warhol. Students could use the style or the concept of the artists to create their own piece, in any art form they wish. The aim of the task, was to use inspiration from another artist and to experience the creative process. Students then had to present their work to the class and explain to the class how their piece was linked to one of the artists, why they chose they style and what they hoped it would communicate. The students created some very interesting work and applied their existing knowledge to explore current topical issues.
