National Students Art Exhibition 2013

The National Students Art Exhibition July 9 – 13th 2013

Astor again organised this National exhibition at the Mall Galleries in London. Hundreds of pieces were sent to the College for selection and the lucky students whose work was chosen made their way to the opening on the 10thof July. Astor had five pieces of work in the show, Clara had two paintings whilst Peter, Kerry, Gemma and Chanelle had one apiece.

Chris Russell, Chief Executive of the Dover Federation for the Arts, and James Horton, President of the Royal Society of British Artists gave welcoming speeches and the Galleries were packed with students, parents and teachers as Henry Olonga, the ex-professional cricketer from Zimbabwe, opened the show with a witty speech and two songs.
