For the fourth year running, Astor College have successfully hosted their own ‘Primary Dance Festival’. The show allowed Primary schools in the local area to unite in a celebration of dance. Eight Primary schools united, alongside Duke of York’s Royal Military School and Astor’s in house dance company Rebound, to produce a fantastic show.
The festival ran for two nights, where the students performed to a packed out theatre. The performance was a huge success and showcased a wide range of dance styles and talents. Both staff and students from each participating school, worked hard together to create their own dances for the show. Well done to the following schools who participated in the dance festival; Priory Fields, Temple Ewell, Shatterlocks, White Cliffs Primary College, Barton, St Martins, Whitfield, Duke of York’s Royal Military School and Astor College. It was truly a celebration of what the youth of today in this area have to offer.
