Trash It - Support for Comic Relief

Trash It - Support for Comic Relief by the Sixth Form

6th form students and teachers showed their support for Comic Relief on Thursday by producing a ‘Trash It’ fashion show in their White Cliffs Theatre.

Each 6th form class were given a  box of rubbish, and they had to create a fashionable item of clothing to wear and parade down a catwalk, which was judged by a range of staff-including the CEO of Astor College, Mr Chris Russell.

Staff strutted their stuff down the catwalk, hoping to impress them with their creativity and innovation using plastic bags, paper plates and recyclable materials.

One student quoted "this is the funniest thing I’ve ever seen. It’s so nice to see the staff getting involved, truly embracing the Comic Relief tagline ‘let’s get funny for money’".
